PENCIL LETTERING

I’ve collaborated with a range of clients—including Barnard College, Brunswick Group, Maxim, Food & Wine, Little, Brown and Company, and WIRED—to create hand lettered type crafted in pencil. With a focus on craftsmanship, each piece brings a tactile, human quality to cover art, feature titles, and beyond.

PENCIL ALPHABETS

In addition to hand lettering, I’ve created custom penciled alphabets for clients including JSTOR and Glutton for Life. Each alphabet brings a sense of individuality to the client’s brand, offering flexibility as their needs evolve. These bespoke letterforms can adapt across formats and be reused endlessly.

WATERCOLOR LETTERING

I’ve collaborated with clients including Bergdorf Goodman, Agency Rush, Little, Brown and Company, Parents Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Super Players Club to create a range of colorful, dynamic hand-painted typography for advertising, logo variations, book cover titles, feature titles, and more.

WATERCOLOR ALPHABETS

I’ve also developed hand-painted alphabets for both client projects, such as Little, Brown and Company, and personal explorations. A whimsical cursive alphabet added the perfect finishing touch to a children’s bedtime book, while experiments with the wet-on-wet technique allowed me to push and pull letterforms.

MARKER LETTERING

Finally, I created custom marker lettering for a variety of clients, including Hillary for America, Perigee Books, ABRAMS, Bon Appétit Magazine, and Worldwide Challenge Magazine. This expressive, detailed type was crafted for coloring book illustrations as well as other book artwork, feature titles, and more.

MARKER ALPHABETS

In addition to marker lettering, I’ve developed custom marker alphabets for both client and personal projects. These two independent explorations play with color and texture, pushing type in distinct directions—one embracing three-dimensional, patchwork forms, and the other exploring flowing, ethereal stippling.
